Are you a Sunday Worshipper?

A Saturday Worshipper?

Need a night off from cooking or washing dishes?

The first Saturday of every month

at Shepherd of the Desert we enjoy a tasty meal

made by one of our wonderful cook teams.

Everyone is invited to join in.

This is a great opportunity to meet new comers to the church, catch-up with those you haven’t spoke to in a while, or that you may not know because you attend church on the opposite day. So don’t be shy.

The next opportunity will be

Saturday, May 5, 2018

at 5:30 pm.

 MEN'S MINISTRY

Daughter/Granddaughter Banquet: The SOD Men’s Ministry is sponsoring a banquet to honor all the Daughters and Granddaughters in the congregation as well as the friends of SOD. The men will be doing the cooking and table service (yes, even the dishwashing)! Although it is near Mother’s Day we are calling it the daughters & granddaughters banquet (since every daughter was born to a mother)! This grand event will be held on Wednesday, 9 May at 6 PM in Walton Hall! This event is courtesy of the men but a complimentary ticket will still be required (helps us men figure out how many groceries to buy)! Tickets will be available beginning 7 April in the church office and from a Men’s Ministry

representative in the Narthex prior to worship beginning 7/8 April. You must reserve your ticket no later than 1 May!
